Ellen Politz has been a top producer each year since starting her real estate career in an exceptionally challenging time. Having worked in banking for well over a decade with National and local companies such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Napa National has given her a strong foundation and understanding of not only finance nuisances but how to navigate the current climate of distressed properties at all levels. With her experience as a Pre-Foreclosure consultant, she has the acumen and negotiating skill set to have successfully closed over 95% of her short sale transactions.
Whether Ellen is working with Sellers assisting them in preparing a property for the market to include extensive valuation work, staging, facilitating inspections and/or repairs, or helping Buyers to find the home of their dreams or investment property she focuses on developing a plan that explores and evaluates all options in today’s market place. She has extensive knowledge of a variety of property types including country/acreage, downtown vintage, fixers, condos as well and multi-family units. Ellen also brings to the table construction and project management experience having managed several property renovations and property management of personal investment properties.
She has great success representing both Buyers and Sellers in “multiple-offer” situations and knowing how to effectively advocate for her clients. Keeping them part of the process and informed throughout a transaction is her key concern.
In addition to her branch and district management experience, she also led successful marketing initiatives for the banking industry with an emphasis on increasing a retail presence for Napa National Bank and Lakeside Bank in Chicago. This allows her to leverage that experience to showcase and develop the most expansive and effective “launch” programs for her listings.
